S&L has been serving the North Country for over 30 years.  The President,Leo Villeneuve, started the company with the support of his wife, Sandra, the "S" in S & L.  He started out in 1978, with two employees and a small office inside his home.  Over the years, it has expanded into a strong organization of up to 200 employees at our busiest times and up to an average of $16 Million a year in sales.  In 2007, Leo took on 4 partners: Richard Menke, Thomas Potter, Michael Villeneuve and James Williams.  With the expansion of the business, we have outgrown our old office building and are currently undergoing a large addition and renovation project.  We hope to be in our new building by the new year.
