S&L has been serving the North Country for over 30 years.  The President, Leo Villeneuve, started the company with the support of his wife, Sandra , the "S" in S & L.  He started out in 1978, with two employees and a small office inside his home.  Over the years, it has expanded into a strong organization of up to 200 employees at our busiest times and up to an average of $16 Million a year in sales.  In 2007, Leo took on 4 partners: Richard Menke, Thomas Potter, Michael Villeneuve and James Williams.  This renovation of ownership has inspired many renovations to our location, including our office and storage barns.  We  are in our new office building and are enjoying the new space!  We are also expanding with a small office in Watertown.
